Working hands-on with our clients means travelling to their head office, factory or distribution center. From getting your hands dirty on the shop floor alongside our clients to meeting with executives in a boardroom, each day offers exciting new opportunities. Its important to be prepared for almost anything, and be resilient when faced with changing priorities!

During the current state of Covid-19, travel has vastly decreased to essential trips only and we continue to work remotely while monitoring the status of the pandemic and complying with public health guidelines.

This past year has proven how our relationships with clients are based on trust and integrity. While we are no longer able to work directly at our clients’ site, the delivery of output has not impacted the project success and clients have not paused our services

Frequent Feedback

Feedback is an integral part of the ground rules when working with TPG, and is vital for the growth of the business and our people. Our group promotes “open, honest and direct” feedback from every level of tenure and seniority in the organization.

Here at TPG, constructive feedback is provided regularly and informally, and always communicated one-on-one.


Our people are our greatest asset and it’s important to us that every team member is given the tools and support to excel in their careers. TPG supports performance improvement initiatives including frequent in-house ‘lunch and learns’, a professional development book club, and reimbursement of relevant certificates, workshops and industry conferences. 

At TPG, one of our values is Learning. With that in mind, our people are driven to continuously learn and stay abreast of the latest innovations in the industry and maximize our potential.

When new employees embark on a career at TPG, they are set up with a Buddy from day one to get them situated in the company and make them feel welcome. Following several weeks into the firm, we work with you to create your professional development plan and set you up with a Mentor to meet monthly for career-related guidance.

While our team works hard to achieve excellence for our clients, we carry the same drive after hours to build team relationships and seek out new hobbies. We know that fostering a true team-oriented environment plays a crucial role in delivering the best possible work on every project, every time.

Weekly Connections

Whether in-person or virtually, we have at least 3 weekly touchpoints as a group:

  • ‘Operations call’ to share project updates and successes;
  • ‘Lunch and Learns’ to develop new skills;
  • A ‘Social Hour’ to reconnect and unwind on Fridays;
  • While working for home, we started a voluntary ‘Breakfast Club’ one morning a week as an opportunity to connect in small groups with David Poirier.
  • There are also frequent informal touch-points within project teams either daily or weekly.


Twice a year, our team attends offsite gatherings over a weekend in the spring and fall. Offsites provide an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen team relationships, and have fun! The weekends are focused on team building, business strategy, and goal setting, with active participation from every member.

Give Back

Each year, our Pay It Forward Campaign (part of the Purpose Beyond Profit Initiative) provides each team member with a fund to make a donation to a cause or charitable organization of their choice. This program is a commitment to donate a percentage of billable hours to providing in-kind consulting services to non-profit organizations in our community.

We’ve Got You Covered

TPG’s wellness program is 100% paid for by the firm and includes health, vision, and dental benefits. Our office includes a gym, sauna, and wellness room which can be used for quiet time, mediation and/or prayer. TPG’s Employee Assistance Program supports employees with personal and/or work-related challenges that may impact their job performance, health, and emotional wellbeing. This program is at no charge to employees and completely confidential.
