Cody is an Industrial Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a natural passion in process improvement. He is a results-oriented business professional with experience in applying Lean Six Sigma tools in both traditional and non-traditional environments to identify and remove waste, increase process velocity, and to identify and reduce or remove process variation. He is experienced in leading cross-functional teams in a variety of different industries, and has extensive experience in coaching Lean Six Sigma projects and facilitating LeanSigma workshops across all levels of an organization.
Cody has worked with clients in various industries including health insurance, retail, food manufacturing and aircraft and military defense. These engagements have included implementing business improvements such as re-engineering cross-functional business processes; automating internal processes; streamlining workflow; and improving plant process management. He specializes in selecting, gathering, and extracting features from data through statistical analysis and applying business acumen to create new knowledge. Cody is an sports fan, and enjoys playing golf and football. He also likes outdoor water sports, including boating, fishing and water skiing, though he is currently working to improve his downhill skiing. When the weather doesn’t permit, Cody likes staying inside to play poker, billiards and ping-pong. He embodies TPG’s values by constantly challenging himself and learning about 3D parts design.
