Jay Lucas is a Senior Advisor at The Poirier Group and founder of The Lucas Group.
Over the past twenty years, Jay has helped numerous executives, investors and management teams set their strategic direction and grow their businesses.
Prior to founding The Lucas Group in 1991, Jay was a Partner at Bain & Company, a leading international management consulting firm. While at Bain & Company, Jay led assignments for a number of Fortune 500 clients, including companies in the consumer products, food and beverage and information industries. In addition, Jay helped found Bain’s consulting practice to Leveraged Buyout Funds and their portfolio companies.
In addition to his business interests, Jay has also been active in government and politics. He was elected and served two terms as member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, and later was his party’s candidate for Governor in the general election of 1998.
After graduating from Yale College, Jay received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and his J.D. from the Harvard Law School, in addition to studying International Relations as a Marshall Scholar at Oxford University.
