An accomplished senior executive with a progressive career spanning 20 years of multi-sector experience and success. Having worked for both privately held small and large public corporations in logistics, consumer and professional products, and retail. Has held senior roles in Operations, Planning, HR, Business Development and Planning, and Program Management.
Peter is a Professional Engineer with undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry (McMaster University) and Industrial Engineering (University of Toronto), and a M.B.A. (Schulich School of Business – York University).

On September 20th, David Poirier (IndE 8T1) was recognized for his voluntary service to the department with an Arbor Award. President David Naylor (photo, left) and chancellor David Peterson (photo, right) presented the award.
The Arbor Awards were created by the University of Toronto in 1989 to recognize volunteers for outstanding personal service to the university. Since then, the university has annually acknowledged the alumni and friends whose loyalty, dedication and generosity has added substantially to the quality of the University of Toronto experience for students, faculty, staff and alumni.

He is a balanced, innovative leader and has built values-based, empowered learning organizations that are committed to continually developing people and establishing fulfilling relationships with stakeholders.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a B.Sc (Hon) in Computer Science and has an MBA from York University.

Tim is a dynamic senior executive with domestic, international, and emerging market experience in customer driven markets including software development, consumer credit services, media, eRetail, loyalty marketing, consumer packaged goods, consumer travel, Web 2.0 and outsources account and transaction processing services.
Tim has over twenty years of experience building market share, revenue, profit and value growth for market leaders. Transformational experience includes three initial public offerings, two acquisitions, one joint venture, four divestitures, five turnarounds, four corporate start ups and tens of asset based lending transactions. Concurrently managed as many as five lines of business and shared service capabilities.
Tim is a graduate of Brock University with a degree in business administration and political science and has completed post graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in innovation, strategy, and technical product development.
